Our online outpatient treatment allows you to receive professional support for opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders from the privacy and comfort of your home. Through secure video sessions, you can access the same evidence-based treatments, medication management, and peer support you’d find in person, without needing to travel or disrupt your daily responsibilities.

Our convenient, confidential approach is designed to fit your life. You’ll meet with our licensed counselors and peer recovery specialists virtually, creating a personalized care plan that addresses your unique needs and goals.

Many major insurance plans cover our online treatment services, sometimes at no additional cost to you. Our team is here to help you verify your benefits and make starting treatment simple and stress-free.

Your Treatment
Your online treatment plan may include a combination of these addiction recovery services.
A community member receives a prescription for Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT)
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Our clinical team uses evidence-based approaches such as medication-assisted treatment to help manage cravings, reduce withdrawal symptoms, and support long-term stability in substance use treatment. MAT is combined with counseling and behavior therapies to treat the whole person, addressing both the physical dependence and the underlying emotional or mental health conditions that often accompany addiction. This integrated approach improves retention in treatment and reduces the risk of relapse, helping you build a solid foundation for lasting recovery.

Online Therapy
Online therapy is a core part of our outpatient treatment, delivered virtually for your convenience. Our licensed addiction counselors provide a safe, supportive space to help you understand the root causes of your substance use and learn healthier coping strategies. Counseling sessions focus on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you recognize triggers, change unhelpful patterns, and develop skills to manage stress, cravings, and life’s challenges. Our online therapy sessions are tailored to your specific goals, ensuring your treatment plan supports both your recovery and overall well-being.

Peer Support
Our Community Recovery Partners (CRPs) have lived experience with addiction and mental health disorders and are trained to provide practical, compassionate guidance. They offer a nonjudgmental space where you can share openly, get help navigating resources, and feel understood by someone who truly “gets it.” Peer support services promote accountability, reduce isolation, and help you stay connected and motivated throughout your recovery journey.

Why Eleanor Health?

Discover what makes our approach to online addiction treatment different.

No Judgement,
No Stigma
Addiction treatment is not a straight path to recovery. We recognize that relapse is often a normal part of the recovery process and we won’t judge you or discharge you if you relapse. Instead we will work with you to adjust your treatment plan.
Treatment on
Your Terms
Your treatment plan will focus on helping you achieve your specific goal, even if it isn’t abstinence. Whether that is reducing alcohol consumption, quitting drinking altogether, or taking back your life from an addiction to opiates or stimulants.
Caring for
the Whole Person
We don’t just treat your addiction; we treat the causes of your addiction. Whether you have experienced mental health conditions or physical conditions that have led you to substance abuse, our whole-person approach aims to address all of these factors.
How It Works
We want to make it easy for you to get into care! Explore the process of how to get started with Eleanor Health’s online addiction treatment services.
Step 1
A call with our team at no cost to you
We will chat with you about our online rehab program and make sure it is the right fit for you. This call is judgment-free, private, and secure. We will ask you questions, such as: What health concerns are you calling about? Are there any barriers preventing you from receiving care? What insurance do you have?
Step 2
Book your first appointment
If we sound like a good fit, we will schedule your first virtual appointment with a medical provider. In most cases, we can see you within 2 days, if not the same day or next day. This appointment could be at no cost to you, depending on your insurance.
Step 3
Attend your first appointment
At your first appointment, you will meet with a medical provider who will ask you about your background and goals and create your customized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Step 4
The journey to feeling better
Depending on your needs we will schedule your next appointments and ensure you are getting the right care. Subsequent appointments could include: therapy, prescription refills, peer coaching, health coaching, and on-going support to help you truly heal.

Frequently Asked Questions

A substance use disorder is a medical condition where regular use of alcohol or drugs leads to significant problems in your life, health, and daily functioning. It can affect your relationships, work, and physical and mental health. This condition affects over 48.5 million Americans (16.7% of people aged 12 and older) and is recognized as a treatable medical disorder, rather than a moral failing or a lack of willpower. Like other chronic health conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, alcohol and drug addictions can be effectively managed with proper addiction care and support.

A co-occurring disorder is when someone experiences both a substance use disorder and mental health symptoms at the same time. Studies show that over 40% of people with substance use disorders also have at least one serious mental health condition. For example, this might mean dealing with both alcohol use disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, or opioid use disorder and depression. At Eleanor Health, we understand that these conditions often influence each other, which is why our co-occurring treatment plans address both your substance use and mental health needs together for the best possible outcomes.

Research shows that virtual addiction treatment can be just as effective as traditional in-person therapy. Studies have found that online treatment leads to similar recovery outcomes while offering unique advantages: it’s more accessible, allows you to maintain work and family responsibilities, and eliminates travel time and transportation barriers. Many clients actually report better engagement with virtual treatment because they can connect with their addiction specialist and care team from a comfortable, private setting of their choosing. At Eleanor Health, we utilize secure, HIPAA-privacy regulations to ensure you receive the same high-quality care you’d receive in person.

Through our secure telehealth services, we offer convenient family sessions that allow loved ones to participate in your treatment from anywhere. Our family therapy sessions help your support network understand addiction, improve communication, and learn effective ways to support your recovery.

Our telehealth services provide more than just individual counseling sessions. Our virtual counseling program offers comprehensive support through secure group sessions, case management services, and 24/7 access to emotional support resources. You’ll have access to your care team through our secure messaging system, virtual support groups, and crisis assistance when needed. This integrated approach ensures you have the right support at the right time, helping you stay connected and motivated throughout your recovery journey.
