Submitting your drug screen is simpler than it looks.
Follow these steps to prepare your test, take clear photos, and upload them for your care team — no guesswork required.
Gather these four things
Prepare your test & take your photos
Work through these steps in order. Each one only takes a moment.

Open your test cup
Remove the test cup from its sealed foil pouch.

Collect your sample
Remove the lid and collect your urine sample directly into the cup.

Seal it up
Replace the lid and screw it on tightly. Set the cup on a flat surface.

Remove the label
Gently peel the label off the cup along the perforated line.

Write your name & today’s date
On the remaining part of the label, write your full name and today’s date. A Sharpie works best.
Photos that are digitally edited to add a name or date can’t be accepted. -
Take 2–3 photos
Keep the cup on a flat surface and photograph it from an angle where every test strip is visible in at least one photo.
2 minPhotograph the black temperature indicator strip.
5 minPhotograph each side of the cup to clearly capture the test lines.

Double-check your photos
Before moving on, make sure each photo clearly shows:
- The black temperature indicator strip
- Your name and today’s date
- Every test line, on every side of the cup — nothing blurry
What makes a photo acceptable
A quick gut-check before you upload — most rejected photos come down to one of these.
Acceptable
- Full name and today’s date, clearly handwritten on the label
- Black temperature strip visible and easy to read
- Every test line, on every side, in sharp focus
- Good lighting, cup resting on a flat surface
Won’t be accepted
- Name or date is missing, unreadable, or digitally added
- Photo is too dark or blurry to read
- Test strips or temperature strip are cut out of frame
- Cup is held in hand or resting on an uneven surface
Upload your photos
Once your photos are ready, submitting them takes less than a minute.

Go to the upload page

Sign in
You’ll be asked to log in to your Eleanor Health member account. Once you’re signed in, you’ll be taken right to the upload screen.

Upload & submit your photos
Follow the on-screen instructions to upload and submit your photos — you’re all set.
If a submission can’t be accepted
Sometimes photos come back unreadable, unlabeled, or appear altered. If that happens, we’ll ask you to redo the test — or in some cases, complete it at an outside laboratory.
