Overcoming Barriers to Care in the Greater Boston Area

If you live in Brockton or nearby communities, you’ve likely experienced how hard it can be to find quality addiction care. Traditional clinics often mean long waits for appointments, and getting to weekly sessions can be tough when you’re relying on public transit or juggling work schedules.

We’re not an inpatient facility or short-term detox program. Eleanor Health provides structured outpatient care designed to support long-term recovery. Our virtual model means you can meet with board-certified addiction medicine providers from wherever works for you—your living room in Brockton, during a lunch break in Easton, or anywhere else in the region.

The Brockton Recovery Ecosystem

Recovery works best when you have the right support at every level. While Eleanor Health provides your outpatient medical treatment and counseling, we recognize that sometimes you need additional resources. That’s why we work closely with these local organizations and refer to them when you need services beyond what we offer:

Medical Detox

Eleanor Health does not provide inpatient care for the initial detox process. For immediate stabilization, we may help connect members to local facilities such as Hillside Alcohol & Drug Rehab or Mayflower Recovery when higher levels of care are needed. Once detox is complete, Eleanor can assist patients in their transition to long-term maintenance and recovery.

Crisis Services

If you or a loved one is in need of psychiatric emergency services, High Point’s Mobile Crisis Intervention program is available 24/7/365 and can be reached via phone at 508-580-0801.

Digital Access Support

If you’re seeking online care and don’t have WiFi at home, the Brockton Public Library allows cardholders to check out a mobile hotspot for free.

Harm Reduction

Naloxone (Narcan), fentanyl test strips, and safe syringes and syringe disposal can be found at the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center on Main Street. In addition to local programs, national resources such as FindTreatment.gov, the Partnership to End Addiction, and the NAATP Provider Directory offer education, family support, and guidance for exploring recovery services across the country
