At Eleanor Health, Peer Support All-Recovery meetings are built on a simple belief: every person’s recovery journey is unique, valid, and deserving of support. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been in recovery for a while, our peer support meetings offer a welcoming space to connect, learn, and grow in a judgement-free environment.

As a group facilitator (and as someone in recovery myself), I understand how uncomfortable the idea of joining a group can feel at first. In my early recovery, sitting in a room with others and sharing my experiences felt overwhelming. Over time, I learned that healing is often rooted in connection, and that some of the most meaningful support comes from people who have traveled a similar road.

Now, I have the privilege of watching that same transformation happen in the individuals who attend our meetings. People often begin quietly and cautiously, and over time they grow more confident, engaged, hopeful, and grounded. Witnessing that progress is one of the most rewarding parts of this work and supports me being grounded in my own recovery.

You Don’t Have to Do Recovery Alone

Recovery can feel isolating, even when you’re doing “all the right things.” Peer support offers something different: a space where you can show up as you are, and feel understood by others who truly get it.

What Are Peer Support Meetings?

A callout out quote about peer support that states, "every person's recovery path is unique, valid, and deserving of support."

Built on lived experience, our meetings are a welcoming space for every stage of recovery, led by people who understand. You don’t need to “have it all figured out” to attend, just a willingness to show up.

Topics We Cover (and How They Help in Everyday Life)

Each group may look a little different, but our conversations are built to support sustainable recovery. In our peer-led All-Recovery groups, we explore a wide range of topics designed to support whole-person wellness and empower individuals in every stage of their recovery journey.

  • We talk about relapse prevention by identifying personal triggers, early warning signs, and strategies that help strengthen resilience.
  • We also focus on building healthy coping skills that can be used in everyday life, from grounding techniques to managing stress in positive ways.
  • Many of our discussions center around life skills such as preparing for employment, organizing daily routines, and building confidence in decision-making.
  • Relationship building is another key area, where we talk about effective communication, setting healthy boundaries, and creating suppo

It’s okay to just listen at first. If you’re nervous, you’re not alone. Many people start by listening, getting comfortable, and participating when they’re ready.

Not Ready for a Group Yet? Start One-on-One

It is completely okay if you want to start with a more private space. You are always welcome to connect one-on-one with a peer support specialist before joining a group. This can help you feel more comfortable, ask questions, and get familiar with the process at your own pace.

Ready to Join a Peer Support Group?

We currently offer Peer Support All-Recovery Meetings for our members twice each week:

• Wednesdays at 12:00 PM ET

• Thursdays at 4:00 PM ET

(Availability may vary depending on your state.)

If you’re interested in joining a peer group or connecting one-on-one with a Peer Support Specialist, please reach out to Eleanor Health. You can call or reach out online to learn more and confirm eligibility.

We would be honored to support you in your recovery journey.
