Candace Harris, Eleanor Health Clinic Manager in North Carolina

My name is Candace Harris. I come to Eleanor as the Sr. Clinic Operations Manager for Eleanor Health in NC. I have had the privilege of working in the Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder field for 10 years and have served in various clinical settings. My experience has taught me that when we are brave enough to embrace our vulnerabilities, our true power is revealed. I’m excited to support our community as our team helps people to live amazing lives by delivering a whole-person, personalized approach to treatment and recovery. When I am not at Eleanor, my daughter, the light of my life, keeps me busy with her cheer, dance, and social activities.

I’m excited to introduce you to the rest of our Eleanor Health Raleigh clinical care team!

Sandra Alexander, and MAT Physician for Eleanor Health in Raleigh, North Carolina

Sandra Alexander, PA-C, MAT/Psych Physician Associate

Former Forensic Drug Chemist/Toxicologist; Regional Counterdrug & Terrorism Team Southeast; Precept/Teach for Campbell, Elon, & University of Lynchburg PA schools.  I’ve worked in MAT/Psych for over 6 years in OTPs, Director of Recovery Services for a large private psychiatric practice before opening my own practice 6/2017 that has now become Eleanor Health Raleigh.  I am a NIDA/SAMSHA award recipient for Substance Use Disorder Education Dissemination.  I serve on the NC Governor’s Institute of Substance Abuse Addiction Medicine conference planning committee.  When I’m not working I enjoy time with my husband and daughter, along with 3 dogs.  Reading and being outdoors are how I relax. In poor weather you can catch me working out at my home gym watching American Ninja Warrior and being inspired by others over 40 and that are moms that stay in shape.

Eleanor Health Community Recovery Partner

Sasha Millington, Clinic Admin & Community Recovery Partner

I am a substance use counselor who brings invaluable experience and compassion to my role. I earned my Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University and a Substance Use Counseling certification from Wake Technical Community College. I’ve supported individuals of all ages and backgrounds and love to collaborate with others. I’ve lost many loved ones due to addiction and lack of knowledge about mental health. Helping people overcome their struggles with substance use gives me joy and gives me purpose. When I leave here, I want to leave knowing that everything that has been poured into me from learned mistakes, wisdom, and education was used to help others. I am an advocate for the LGBTQ community and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. When I am not at Eleanor, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, going to festivals or concerts, and traveling.
