Meet the Mooresville, NC clinical team!
March 23, 2021
Shukairo Baker, Clinic Manager: I am married, a mother of 4, bonus mother of 3 and a dually licensed Clinical Therapist in the fields of Social Work and Substance Abuse. I am currently licensed to practice in NC, SC, VA, TX, and NJ. I obtained my Bachelor’s degrees in Criminology and Psychology from North Carolina State University and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Texas At Arlington. Shay was recently accepted to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s online Doctor of Clinical Social Work Program which she will begin fall 2020. My career history spans from work as a CPS Investigator to Certified Special Education Teacher to Military and Family Life Counselor, Private Practice Psychotherapist and everything else in between. I am passionate about health and wellness and became certified as a Bariatric counselor, after my own weight loss surgery procedure in 2016. As a Bariatric counselor, I assist those who would like to consider weight loss surgery with understanding the process by psychologically assessing their readiness for the procedure. When I’m not working, I am involved with extra-curricular activities with my children who are heavily involved in sports or traveling with my husband. In light of everything COVID-19, I just bask in the blessing of more time spent with the ones I love.
I’m excited to introduce you to the rest of our Eleanor Health Mooresville clinical care team!
My name is Michael Doyle I come to Eleanor Health with ten years of experience as a mental/behavioral health nurse; specializing in community outreach, substance abuse and homelessness. Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a biochemist. I earned my BSN from UNC Wilmington. I enjoy cycling (mountain, gravel and road); splitting my time between NC mountains and coast.
My name is Allie Cairelli, and I have the pleasure of serving as the Member Engagement Administrative Specialist for our Eleanor Health Mooresville Clinic. I am a proud graduate of Appalachian State University, and I came to Eleanor with experience in mental health and substance use care from peer support and administrative positions. In both crisis and outpatient settings, I have worked hard to serve communities and individuals affected by mental illness and substance use. At Eleanor, I always strive to use my passion for advocacy to help our members feel safe and welcome. In my spare time, I love playing with my cat Luna, antiquing and thrifting, and playing (losing) board games with my partner Zachary.
